Convert Pdf To Word Doc Adobe Pro 9

In Word click File Open. Navigate to where your PDF file is stored, and open it. Word will open a dialog box confirming that it is going to attempt to import the text of the PDF file. Click OK to confirm, and Word will import the text. Word will do its best to preserve the formatting of the text as it appears in the PDF.

This configuration works best in my experience: Word 2003 and Acrobat Pro 8. Acrobat Pro 8 came bundled with Adobe LiveCycle Designer (ES 8.2), which is the form editing program which handled form creation starting with a Word or other document. Word 2010 does not integrate well with any version of Acrobat other than 'X.' Acrobat 9 is OK but relies on built-in form tools and does not automatically open Live Cycle Designer to create an interactive form.

Have you tried opening Designer and then opening your Word doc through that instead of converting to PDF first? (File > New > Import a Word Document).

  1. Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat 9 Pro Extended can and do export to Word. Both can and do export at '100%' when that is present 'in' the PDF. I've done it with a fair measure of frequency. Acrobat 9 Standard and Adobe Reader 9 cannot export PDF.
  2. How to convert PDF files into Word documents: Open a PDF file in Acrobat DC. Click on the “Export PDF” tool in the right pane. Choose Microsoft Word as your export format, and then choose “Word Document.”.

It definitely won't work if you print to PDF from Word, as that flattens the document.
